A wonder filled evening of live music at the Portal on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Michael Hammer started the evening gathering off with beautiful journeys of ethereal waves.
Matisha took us on a journey of heart songs and group singing. The evening progressed to down by the water edge. The drums came out and the tribal groove consumed us. Fireworks shooting out across the skyline, a full moon illuminating the ocean as waves crashed the lava shores and sprayed wildly into the sky.
As our story continued we return to the Michael's keyboards and full sonic landscapes. Joined with Rebecca Schroder on Violin, Cheryl Gama on Flute, Ananada on Flute, Jas on Guitar and the gathered community on percussion and other toys of sound experession. We had a glorious night of love and harmony.
I recorded the final segment on my zoom h2. we shall see how it turned out and I will add it to the archives section if it works.
What a great way to initiate the new year.
